Plants vs Zombies

I was away for a while and returned to find the Zombies were still here... OH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Something has got into those neurons that assist us Humans to go forth and conquer! Those parts that put us apart from the mere Zombies whose whole being is to walk around and eat and devour this Earth. Those that have no care and just feed... leaving the carcasses for the rest of us to pick up and try to discard. Those that just use... use....and use...  then expect the rest of civilisation to go and grab the pooper scooper. Oh once again I digress....

Plants vs Zombies?AAAAARGH

Can I say it has become an addiction for a certain plant-human? Should I even say who it is? I mean really, how could it have gotten this far? How could such a thing become such an obsession for one so intelligent?

An obsession can be described in many ways depending on what the obsession is... the domination of one’s thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image or desire.... I suppose, says I.

The domination of one's thoughts? No I don't think so.... Just go  now as I have Zombies to kill!

Amelie: "Papa? Can I go back on?"
Papa: "NOOOOOOOOOO! I need to win!"
Amelie: "Papa, I already did that level."
Papa: "!#@$%!%^$#@$%... you could have told me 2 hours earlier!"
Amelie: "I did, you Zombie"

Plants vs Zombies? Not good for those over 40.

Good Night. Oh hang on, there is a little bugger trying to get through  oh, I'M ON IT!

Amelie: "Paaapaaaaaa! C'mon!"

Oh NOOOOOOOOOO! Going now.
They ate my brains in more ways than one

How could it become such an obsession? I mean really... Damn you Plants vs Zombies.

Gone leaving the Zombies behind

I have gone to see my Parents in Sydney and having doing so have left something behind that is the whole of my being. I wonder what that could be?

I wonder what you could think it could be? That which is my wholeness within me pondering that there is something missing and that can be once again whole, considering, that I have gone.

If you didn't understand, no matter, as I lost myself there too.

Unless....? It was that wholeness that gave me the thought and feeling of ONE that is the cause of the emptiness of the whole within me?

But really that is neither here nor there. The reality is, I have gone to the other side of this vast country without my co-pilot.

In the short time I have been away, it has been hard on both of us. She has cried at my departure I have cried at departing. She has cried on Skype because she doesn't have me there helping her with Plants vs Zombies.

I have cried because I'm worried she may erase the level we are at on Plants vs Zombies. Ohh the tragedy of distance!

Seriously though, even if all above may seem fictional to you, it is not. I have just omitted the real whole that is in my heart. As I miss my Zombie Killer the moments I'm away.

I have Gone!
I miss my Mimi!

A Single Entity

As you may or may not have noticed I have been away due to the dreaded Man-Flu and since being found clinically alive have still stayed clear of my 'Precious', (Other than Raising Amelie or the Ring that Binds us all... I just mean this Blog)

In that time of absenteeism I can say that I have been busy, in that I have been playing, I mean teaching a certain up and coming Tycoon, the intricacies of a certain board game. You may have guessed by the title of this post I suppose -or not- is about Monopoly.

‘The domination of a market by a single entity!’

After teaching my 4 year old the basic rules, we began. Straight off the bat my little entrepreneur started buying. That is all good, but every move I made I was already paying rent as I kept landing on the properties she had just purchased (mortgaged). Around and around we went. I did manage to buy a few estates but unfortunately they weren't in the best locale, so rentals were quite cheap. Yet I was still surviving the rat race.

It continued... And with every community chest I was giving out money whereas my events coordinator was receiving. A couple of times in jail didn't phase my fraudster as she had most of the properties and by the rules still gets paid the rent. A good 2 hours were spent by both of us trying to dominate the other 'of the fellowship.' What fun!

I was Decimated! I mean gave in. Oh let's play again then. After you go count it all.

Monopoly~ Dominated by a single entity?

Yes! As it should be! As that is what the game intended. As that is the fabric that rules our world. It's the dogma that keeps the strong stronger and makes the many weak and insignificant. It is all about making money and who cares who you make a pauper.

It is about a single person among the few (or many) to truly decimate those around us by procuring what others in our fellowship have struggled to own through hard work, sweat and tears. It is for a single entity to buy, buy out, make it impossible for your fellow to truly be financially free, pretty much like a government (Taxes) or a bank (mortgage, fees)...

I was very pleased and thankful that when I was down to my last dollar and couldn't pay my rent Amelie gave back, by helping out the more unfortunate (i.e.. Me.) and was happy doing so. You may be thinking...

“Oh well she wanted the game to continue," but I say, “She did feel bad and wanted to give, rather than take." Because as soon as she did give, it was time to finish the game.

A single entity doesn't mean a single person, it means ONE and that ONE is us all, together as a Species, as Humans and as a Family.

All in all my Rockefeller and I did have fun and were, as One. A Single Entity!!!

Mahna Mahna

Mahna Mahna Baby!
Hello and welcome to nothing particularly interesting.

So what about me you ask?

I am improving slowly but still poorly, oh woe is me. But that is another story.
The thing is I am hearing stuff around the house, mainly songs I haven't heard in a long time. Some good, some bad. But let me tell you, oh ones who love me, this is a favourite of mine and now it is all I hear since my Little Movie Critic has watched the latest Movie from these fantastic creatures.

Oh I will not add here the copies of copies of copies but I will post one of the originals. The one I saw... the one my girl has not yet seen by the way, so shhhh!

Helter Skelter

How tedious are some games? Well let me tell you that this particular game is up there with the best of the time consuming ones.
Helter Skelter or KerPlunk by it's other just as frustrating name, is not a bad game by any means but it's just that it takes so frickin' long to set up! My eyes are failing and my hands shake so it's no wonder setting up this particular game get's my nerves on edge.

My adversary though, thrives on my inability to keep the pieces from tumbling before the game has even commenced.

I definitely need a prepper (is that a word?), to set up the Skelter that is this Helter. Until then I shall persevere as I do, to the amusement of my opponent.

Aaaargh! 20 minutes to have it ready and 2 minutes for it to finish leaving me not only frustrated but apparently the Loser too!

I think, to relax, I'll just listen to this piece of serene muzak... Oh and just like the video. When you think it's over... off we go again.

So, in the words of John Lennon, "I've got blisters on me fingers!!!!
